The ruched back on these gives just enough coverage without feeling bulky, which I didn't expect from a bloomer cut. The lilac dye is a soft, muted purple rather than the bright pastel I was bracing for, and it hasn't faded after three washes.

The washed silk charmeuse feels genuinely luxurious against skin, much softer than the cotton bloomers I usually wear. Only gripe is the lilac dye runs a bit in the first cold wash, so hand-washing is safer.
